Virtual Event: Smart/Safe Cycling for Youth & Adults

Join us for an Smart/Safe Cycling for Youth & Adults presentation from 6:30PM to 8:00PM on 11/20/25. This will be a Zoom session the link is below. Topics covered will be: E-bike definitions & laws, What parents should know about E-bikes for youth, Riding safely in traffic for all age cyclists and all types of bikes.

The increase in serious, even fatal, cycling accidents, especially among young riders, makes Smart/Safe cycling concepts more important than ever. Since E-Bike sales have increased dramatically we will spend time focusing on them. We will also look at the most common bike vs motorist accidents and how to avoid them. We will repeat this presentation several times this fall and winter. In the Spring we will offer hands on workshops as a sequel to this presentation.

Your instructor will be Chaz Foster a League of American Bicyclists cycling instructor (LCI) and the Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club’s Rides & Safety Director.
